Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to read job travelers and check significant components.
• Ability to track job data, time, and materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use the decimal system.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while remaining stationary.
• Ability to operate essential hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, pliers, drill).
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to train coworkers and monitor work in process for correctness.

Responsibilities

• Use tools to make, repair, and assemble parts and products.
• Properly monitor and report during the production process.
• Guide others and assist in training on the construction of units.
• Interprete diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other instructions.
• Cut raw materials needed for completion of the job.
• Inspect parts for defects before installation and report to upper management.
• Follow directions to work as a team.
• Maintain a SAFE and CLEAN working environment.
