Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Griffin, GA, is seeking an Assembly Operator to assemble sound-attenuated and weather-resistant enclosures, using aluminum siding and steel piping, and mounting generators and other components.

You will follow Standard Work Procedures and blueprints, use drills, tape measures, wrenches and rivet guns, maintain an orderly work area, and rotate through the assembly tasks while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Technical degree or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components such as sheet metals, aluminum trimming, piping and mount generators and other components.
• Use drills, saws, tape measures, wrenches and rivet guns to perform assembly duties.
• Follow Standard Work Procedures and blueprints to safely perform assembly and/or adjustment of components.
• Rotate to various positions within the assembly area to perform related tasks and cross-train.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area and comply with 5S and safety guidelines.
