Job summary

You will read blueprints, measure and assemble foam components and walk-in sections, and ensure quality by inspecting parts and labeling accurately.

The role requires following detailed instructions, using PPE, and maintaining safe, efficient work practices in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math; fractions and measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to follow work instructions and company policies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds semi-frequently.
• Ability to plan ahead and anticipate production issues.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and assembly instructions for proper build.
• Measures distances for component placement in subassemblies.
• Uses hand tools to drill holes and modify parts.
• Assembles walk-in sections including foam components and wood pieces.
• Removes excess foam from foamed sections and prepares parts.
• Labels completed sections per blueprints or instructions.
• Cleans foreign material from rails and pallets.
• Inspects component parts and reports defects to supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
