Job summary
Staffmark Group in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Assembly Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble quality products using hand tools, read work instructions, and follow safety practices to keep production moving smoothly.
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with weekly pay and competitive benefits. A willingness to work with carpentry/assembly tasks and operate a forklift as needed is important.
Qualifications
- 1 year of carpentry/assembly & forklift experience.
- Able to read a tape measure accurately.
- Good attention to detail.
- Steel-toes safety footwear required.
Responsibilities
- Use hand and power tools including a nail gun and miter saw.
- Operate a forklift when needed.
- Maintain a safe workspace.
