Job summary

Whirlpool Ottawa Manufacturing plant in Ohio is seeking dedicated Assemblers to join our world-class production team. This facility specializes in high-end refrigeration, building premium built-in refrigerators and freezers.

As an Assembler, you will help ensure every unit meets our iconic quality standards. The role covers multiple lines including cell, conveyor, dryer, and commercial units, with starting pay of $20.75 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour third shift premium.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have at least 1 year of work history.
• Preference for 6 months manufacturing experience and 1+ years of consistent work history.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts by hand or with tools/equipment.
• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final products per engineering blueprints.
• Operate, load and unload production machines including mounting and light machines.
• Perform electrical repair, salvage and wiring assembly to ensure function and quality.
• Conduct final packing, finishing and quality checks on products.
• Monitor equipment and finished goods for quality; troubleshoot minor issues.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area following safety protocols.
