Dexter/DexKo is seeking Assemblers in Indiana to build finished products by assembling parts with hand and power tools. This hands-on role emphasizes quality, safety, and attentiveness to detail within a team environment.

You will read instructions and drawings to ensure precise assembly and meet production goals. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, prior assembly experience, and the ability to work in a noisy, outdoor-influenced manufacturing setting with appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior assembly experience, especially in metal manufacturing.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read instructions, drawings, and measurements.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Manufacturing facility with forklift traffic and powered equipment.
• Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, dirt, and grease.
• Some areas with high noise levels.
• Exposure to outdoor elements and high heat during certain months.
• Required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and protective clothing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components following step-by-step instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to complete assemblies.
