Job summary

BESTAFF is seeking a dependable Assembler for a growing manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weeklypay and a clear path to permanent placement.

You will read blueprints, assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools, perform basic quality checks, and help maintain a clean, safe work area. Prior assembly/manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or schematics is a plus.
• Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Assemble mechanical and metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Operate overhead cranes or hoists to move materials, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
