Job summary

Sherman-and-Reilly-Inc is seeking an assembler/production worker to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble components into finished units following the bill of materials and production documents, read blue prints, and operate basic tools such as drills and torque wrenches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and perform basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and handle problems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or produce component parts into completed units per bill of materials and production documents.
• Read blue prints and handle materials and tools such as drill, taps, torque wrench, etc.
• Inspect parts using visual inspection, gauges, tape measures, check fixtures, or other inspection equipment.
• Ensure tools are stored properly after use and maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Assist quality in testing and other efforts as required.
• Perform rope winding as necessary.
• Carry out additional duties as instructed by supervision.
