Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform precise assembly and sub-assembly of products, test components with calipers and testing equipment, and troubleshoot to meet quality standards.

You will track work orders in ERP, use overhead lift equipment for moving parts, and prepare finished products for shipment while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. This role emphasizes quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Consistency in delivering quality results and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a focus on quality and safety.
• Experience reading mechanical blueprints and work instructions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and sub-assembly of products following standard work instructions and blueprints.
• Test products using calipers and testing equipment for electronic components as required.
• Troubleshoot and rework products that do not meet testing standards.
• Accurately track work orders and scrap in the ERP system.
• Use overhead lift equipment to move parts and products safely.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment on pallets.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.
• Support additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
