Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to perform safe and precise assembly on 2"-36" products, including OGS and AGS systems. You will follow specs and BOMs, use the Medix system, and conduct in-process inspections while maintaining accurate records and cross-functional communication.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, 5S practices, and TPM tasks. Applicants should read drawings, measure parts, and contribute to continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
• Familiarity with SWI and SOP processes preferred.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows software preferred.
• Strong understanding of shop math, including fraction-to-decimal conversion.
• Ability to accurately read and use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and vernier scales preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints desired.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble 2"-36" products per specs and BOM.
• Perform in-process inspections and dimensional checks.
• Maintain records of inspections and results; ensure tool safety.
• Operate Medix system for job/spool assignments.
• Communicate with Line Leads, Supervisors, and Engineering teams.
• Adhere to 5S duties and TPM tasks.
• Report discrepancies between drawings/models and BOMs.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
