APAC, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring for an Asphalt Rake/Lute Operator in Grove Hill, AL. This skilled role supports the paving crew by operating the rake and lute, shaping and finishing asphalt to ensure quality joints and surface smoothness.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating an Asphalt Rake/Lute on road construction projects preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Assist the Screed Operator with maintaining grade and joints.
• Ability to work varying hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate Asphalt Rake/Lute on paving crews.
• Rake asphalt to proper grade and finish before compaction.
• Match and finish joints of freshly laid asphalt.
• Assist the Screed Operator with grade and screed extensions.
• Perform other manual tasks as assigned by supervisor.
