Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is hiring a full-time Production Operator for our Texarkana, TX facility. You will perform tasks involved in receiving, inspecting, assembling, packing, palletizing parts and ammunition, and operate a forklift after training.

The role requires good manual dexterity, ability to lift 35–60 pounds, and reading skills typical of high school education. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• Assembly Line Work Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing various work tasks involved in the receiving, unpacking, inspecting, assembling, breakdown, reworking, packing out and palletizing of component parts and finished ammunition.
• After having successfully passed the required training, operates a forklift or tow motor as assigned.
• Performs cleanup of work areas.
• Performs operations in accordance with written standard operating procedures and wears the required personal protective safety equipment.
• Manufactures items in accordance with latest drawings and specifications.
