Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our center in the North Kingstown, RI area. Technicians use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure safe steering and straight travel.

Responsibilities include tire mounting, balancing, oil/ filter changes, inspections and other automotive tasks. We offer weekly pay, health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have 1 year of experience in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Preferred: state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using specialized equipment to adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds as part of daily duties.
