Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for a center in the Melville, NY area. Technicians align tires, measure caster/camber/toe, and perform routine services to ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Qualifications

Eligible to work in the United States, at least 18 years old, and possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
Preferred: state inspection license.
Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Use latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels; measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service.
