Valence is seeking an experienced aircraft painter to join our Seattle facility. You will inspect, prepare, and apply coatings to various surfaces, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years' experience in aircraft painting.
• Familiarity with paint application and coatings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect painting requirements for each part.
• Select appropriate paints per shop paperwork.
• Mix paints per directions or TS sheets.
• Prepare surfaces with light sanding before coating.
• Prime aluminum with epoxy or lacquer before final color coat.
• Manage time to complete tasks within deadlines.
• Coordinate with team members on workflow.
• Paint diverse surfaces and metals.
• Wear PPE and follow safety regulations during painting.
• Replace filters and maintain spray booth equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
