Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Paint Process Technician to support the aircraft painting workflow. You will surface prepare, sand, clean, mask, and seal panels to ensure readiness for primer and paint. The role includes assisting with basic primer and military-grade coatings while adhering to established quality standards.

You will mask around windows and sensitive surfaces, remove old coatings, feather edges, and ensure proper sanding and surface cleanliness throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Basic composite prep.
• Removing loose paint from surfaces.
• Feathering edges of coatings for seamless blends.
• Removing contaminants from panels prior to primer.
• Able to sand high spots with abrasives.
• Basic paint application.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for primer and paint application.
