Job summary

MKC is seeking an Agriculture Equipment Operator to deliver and apply agronomy products using company spraying, spreading and tendering equipment. The role involves operating advanced crop input machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe, accurate product application in growers’ fields.

You will learn and follow regulatory requirements, maintain licenses, meet MSDS standards, and provide excellent customer service while supporting teamwork across divisions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate agronomy spray, spreader, and tender equipment safely.
• Knowledge of MSDS information for agronomy products is preferred.
• Maintain equipment and complete daily work orders accurately.
• Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (A) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Maintain Custom Applicator’s License (1A).
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform spraying, spreading and tendering duties according to work orders.
• Operate and maintain equipment per manuals and report maintenance needs.
• Mix fertilizers and chemicals following quality standards.
• Record inventories and daily application records accurately.
• Identify new business opportunities and inform supervisor.
• Greet customers professionally and address safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with location managers and account teams as needed.
• Maintain clean, professional appearance of self and equipment.
• Complete special projects assigned by supervisor.
