Job summary

Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC is seeking an AGRIntelligence Technician to support precision agriculture initiatives at our Selma location. You will assist with soil sampling, EC data collection and data management for AGRIntelligence 360 and related devices.

You will train location staff and customers on AGRIntelligence tools, analyze field data to guide recommendations, and collaborate with the Branch Manager and sales team to ensure timely delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree is required.
• One year of related work experience is required.
• No degree and three years of related work experience will be considered.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required.
• Ability to travel up to 25-30% or less is required.
• English reading, writing and speaking required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Researches and evaluates new digital farming / information management services and other new technologies.
• Delivers, communicates and presents products and services to customers with the assistance of the sales team.
• Assists the sales team with the selling, positioning, delivery and presentation of products and services.
• Trains and assists the Helena team and customers using AGRIntelligence branded products/services.
• Serves as the primary source for field work such as soil sampling, tissue sampling and EC data collection.
• Ensures data collected are safely transferred to the Field Support Center for timely processing.
• Assists with installation of precision agriculture equipment at locations and in fields.
• Communicates market intelligence and competitive threats to Business Unit leadership.
• Ensures all safety and company policies are followed.
