Responsabilités

• EM-38 or Veris EC field data collection using late model 4x4 pickups/UTVs and Trimble RTK base stations.
• Utilize in-field navigation and tablet software to aid data collection.
• Verify data integrity and proper functioning of EM-38/Veris EC systems.
• Upload information to data servers as needed.
• Post processing of digital on-farm data for import into analytics software.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

POSITION SUMMARY

This intern position will be focused towards the digital agronomy aspect of Precision Ag Technologies and Zone Management systems. Based out of our administrative office, the student will get broad exposure to: Satellite Imagery, Aerial Imagery, Zone Map Creation, Zone Nutrient Recommendations, Data Management and Documentation and UAV Technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• EM-38 or Veris EC in field data collection using late model 4x4 pickup’s or UTV’s and Trimble RTK base stations.
• Utilize in field navigation and tablet software systems to aid in data collection.
• Verify data integrity and proper functioning of EM-38/Veris EC systems.
• Upload information to data servers as needed.
• Post Processing of digital on farm data for import into the MZB Analytics software system or other software platforms as advised.
• Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
