Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in metal forming, fabrication, machining, or aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of dimensional tolerances and measurement techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate forming equipment, presses, brakes, rollers, stretch-forming equipment, and related machinery.
• Form, bend, shape, and contour aerospace components to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Select and install tooling, dies, fixtures, and forming equipment based on production needs.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Identify material defects, tooling issues, and dimensional discrepancies affecting quality.
• Maintain traceability of materials and completed components.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work area.
