Amerascrew is hiring for an Acme Multiple Spindle Operator in Mansfield, Ohio. The role involves setting up and operating Acme multi-spindle screw machines to produce precision components to spec. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Thursday schedule and overtime available, in a family-owned shop environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience with multi-spindle machines, strong mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of blueprints and measurement tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating multiple spindle or screw machines.
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot multi-spindle machinery.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a team player.
• Drug-free workplace compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate multiple spindle screw machines safely and efficiently.
• Read blueprints and verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling for optimal machine performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, tool sharpening, and setup changes.
• Monitor production runs to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report production issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
