Job summary

Matrix Service Company in Clarksville, Arkansas is seeking an experienced crane operator to operate mobile hydraulic boom cranes with 50+ ton capacity. The role requires NCCCO certification, DOT card, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years mechanical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Must pass equipment test and visual observation of operating equipment.
• Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, and Client/Site specific training.
• Must obtain and maintain an active status appropriate drug testing program.
• Must have an NCCCO card and current DOT Card.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and must be able to pass an MVR.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of mobile hydraulic boom cranes with lifting capacities over 50 ton.
• Makes precise load placements where exact movements are necessary, to position the load accurately and safely.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies, avoiding obstructions like masts and antennas.
• Position heavy machinery and components with precision, beams and lumber handled safely.
• Communicate with team members through signals and verbal directions.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to minimize risk.
