Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Precertification, Scheduling & Disability Coordinator to verify insurance, obtain precertifications, schedule appointments and process disability/FMLA forms in accordance with department policies.
You will collect and log insurance information, communicate with patients, employers and insurance companies, enter data into SMS, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient privacy and timely updates.

The Precertification, Scheduling & Disability Coordinator collaborates with referring physicians practices to obtain clinical information, verifies/intakes patient insurance information, precertification, obtains authorizations from insurance companies, and schedules appointments with patients following the policy, procedure and guidelines of the department. Responsibilities also include, the accurate and timely completion and submission of disability and/or FMLA forms, while maintaining contact, thorough documentation and providing updates to the patient, insurance company and/or employer.
