• Ensures the effective and efficient use of services, monitors appropriateness and medical necessity and provides necessary information for authorization of diagnostic testing with multiply insurance providers.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits and obtains deductible and coinsurance amounts, obtaining precertification/authorization for outpatient diagnostic testing and other services as needed.
• Promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and performs duties in alignment with St. Luke's mission and values.
• The position offers a hybrid schedule.
