Job summary

Coreslab Structures (CONN) Inc. is seeking dedicated full-time workers for a fast-paced concrete products fabrication environment in Thomaston, CT. Prior precast/prestressed concrete experience is preferred and a strong aptitude for construction will help you succeed.

Responsibilities include preparing, pouring, finishing, and stripping concrete products, setting up molds, and cutting and tying rebar. You should be able to lift 50 lbs, read tape measures and drawings, and work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Min 1 year in fabrication of precast concrete products or with a leading Construction firm.
• Preparation, pouring, and finishing concrete.
• Ability to read a tape measure and production drawings.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., climbing, kneeling, and working long hours.
• Willingness to operate forklifts and cranes.
• Lawfully documented to work in the US (we E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cleaning, assembling, and setting up the molds to produce large concrete products.
• Cutting, bending, tying, and fixing rebar assemblies.
• Pouring and finishing concrete.
• Stripping concrete products from the molds.
• Finishing and repairing concrete products.
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Coreslab Structures (CONN) Inc. is seeking dedicated full-time Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced concrete products fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with precast/prestressed concrete and a strong aptitude for construction.

Experience

If you have experience in the following areas, now is your chance to join and grow with us!

• Min. 1 year in fabrication of precast concrete products or with a leading Construction firm.
• Preparation, pouring, and finishing concrete.
• Fabrication of the rebar cages.
• Concrete Patching and Repairs.
• Basic carpentry.
• Driving a forklift.
• Operating power tools and construction/fabrication equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Wage: $20 to $25
