What You’ll Be Doing

The Precast Construction Carpenter is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. You will construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools. You’ll also report to the production supervisor and work as a part of a close‑knit team, communicating effectively and contributing to collective success.

A Highlight Of Your Day‑to‑Day May Include

• Construct, assemble, and repair wooden or metal forms and molds for precast concrete products
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to required dimensions
• Install embedded items, blockouts, and inserts according to design specifications
• Ensure forms are properly braced, aligned, and secured before concrete placement
• Strip forms after curing and prepare them for reuse
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and QC teams to resolve issues
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, returning tools to proper storage and performing routine housekeeping (e.g., cleaning and organizing)
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
