Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure is seeking a Precast Construction Carpenter to build, install, and repair forms for precast concrete products. You will read blueprints, measure materials, and create precise forms using wood, plywood, and wallboard with hand and power tools.

You’ll also install embedded items, ensure bracing and alignment, and work closely with production, engineering, and QC teams to resolve issues. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and pride in finishing tasks accurately.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGThe Precast Construction Carpenter is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. You will construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.Reporting to our production supervisor, you’ll work on a close-knit team; the ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team is imperative.A highlight of your day-to-day may include:Construct, assemble, and repair wooden or metal forms and molds for precast concrete productsRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawingsMeasure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to required dimensionsInstall embedded items, block outs, and inserts according to design specificationsEnsure forms are properly braced, aligned, and secured prior to concrete placementStrip forms after curing and prepare them for reuseMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe conditionCollaborate with production, engineering, and QC teams to resolve issuesMaintaining a safe and clean work environment, returning all tools after use to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing).Performing all work in accordance with established safety procedures.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORYou’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
