Responsibilities

Lead or co-lead in a classroom, including independent teaching, co-teaching, short- or long-term coverage, or stepping into a lead role later in the year.
Ensure that all students are affirmed, valued, and challenged daily.
Foster a positive and safe learning environment.
Prepare and internalize rigorous and engaging lessons leveraging provided curricula/resources.
Create and internalize academically aligned lesson/unit plans, rubrics, and assessments when applicable.
Set specific growth goals for all students and identify resources to help them meet them.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Implement school-wide or grade-level student culture systems and effective classroom management.
Regularly analyze student work and data to guide instruction and refinement of curriculum.
Maintain up-to-date student grades/records and communicate with families about growth.
