Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH seeks a Pre-Surgical Testing Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This full-time, no‑call role focuses on evaluating medical histories, risk factors, and readiness for anesthesia, coordinating pre‑op workups and consultations with surgeons and anesthesia.

The APP will review labs, ECGs, pulmonary and cardiac testing, and will educate patients about anesthesia and the surgical plan while collaborating with PCPs and specialty providers to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• NP license in good standing with relevant state requirements.
• Experience with pre-operative evaluation and anesthesia workflows preferred.
• Ability to interpret ECGs, labs, and imaging as part of risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review medical and surgical history to assess anesthesia risk.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing and specialty consultations.
• Educate patients on anesthesia plan and perioperative care.
