Three Little Bears Day Care LLC in Bridgeport, CT seeks a passionate Preschool Head Teacher to lead our early childhood classroom, guiding a dedicated team of educators in a warm, nurturing environment.

The role focuses on planning developmentally appropriate curriculum, mentoring assistants, observing development, communicating with families, and ensuring licensing and safety standards are met to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood classroom.
• Knowledge of CT Office of Early Childhood licensing requirements is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-driven curriculum for preschool-aged children
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to maintain a high-quality learning environment
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that supports social-emotional development
