Job summary

Keysight Technologies seeks a Solution Engineer to design and deliver advanced NAS test solutions for AI data center workloads in Santa Clara. You will combine hands-on networking with pre-sales activities, guiding customers through complex protocols and test configurations.

You will collaborate across engineering and product teams, delivering demonstrations, training, and rapid prototyping using Python automation and cloud capabilities. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Background equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles, with pre-sales experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet and TCP/IP internetworking.
• Experience with modern data center/backbone architectures and protocols: CLOS, Leaf/Spine, VxLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SR.
• Solid Python automation/scripting experience with REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with traffic generation / network test equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of work time.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical guidance and build advanced technical solutions across Keysight products, including AI data center test solutions.
• Support design and consultation sessions with prospective clients, showing protocol expertise.
• Own complex technical problems and partner across teams to support customer needs.
• Deliver sales presentations, product installations, and maintenance, ensuring smooth integration.
• Integrate Keysight products into customer environments and ensure interoperability.
• Validate AI/ML back-end network fabrics and GPU cluster traffic patterns.
