Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer in India to turn data and AI priorities into measurable business outcomes. You will combine deep technical expertise, consultative discovery, and executive communication to craft secure, scalable Snowflake AI Data Cloud solutions for enterprise customers.

You will design architectures, conduct workshops, and present value-focused demonstrations to influence senior stakeholders across India.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics, or equivalent customer-facing technical role.
• Strong foundation in data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and enterprise security.
• Experience leading technical discovery and designing solutions for complex enterprise requirements.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business leaders, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers and translate business priorities into architectures built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
• Design and demonstrate solutions using Snowflake capabilities such as Cortex AI, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streamlit in Snowflake, and secure data sharing.
• Build proofs of concept validating performance, governance, interoperability, and business value for high-priority workloads.
• Advise customers on modernizing data platforms and migrating analytical workloads to Snowflake while reducing complexity.
• Mentor Solutions Engineering peers and contribute reusable field assets and reference architectures.

AS A SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Lead technical discovery with customers and translate business priorities into architectures built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
• Design and demonstrate solutions using Snowflake capabilities such as Cortex AI, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streamlit in Snowflake, and secure data sharing.
• Build proofs of concept that validate performance, governance, interoperability, and business value for high-priority customer workloads.
• Advise customers on modernizing data platforms and migrating analytical workloads to Snowflake while reducing complexity and operational overhead.
• Partner with Account Executives, Product Management, Professional Services, and Snowflake partners to develop account strategies and remove technical barriers.
• Guide customer stakeholders on security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI patterns using Snowflake Horizon and related platform controls.
• Influence technical and executive decision makers through clear architecture narratives, workshops, demonstrations, and value-focused presentations.
• Mentor Solutions Engineering peers and contribute reusable field assets, reference architectures, and product feedback that improve execution across the region.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics, or an equivalent customer-facing technical role.
• A strong foundation in data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and enterprise security.
• Experience leading technical discovery and designing solutions for complex enterprise requirements.
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business leaders, and executives.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one major cloud platform as supporting capabilities for solution design and validation.
• A record of influencing customer decisions through consultative problem solving, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead across sales, product, services, partners, and customer teams without direct authority.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience with Snowflake, Cortex AI, Snowpark, Streamlit in Snowflake, or native application development.
• Familiarity with GenAI architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, model governance, and AI-assisted solution engineering workflows.
