Job summary

Infor in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for patients in the Surgery unit. You will perform initial patient assessments, document pre-op orders, and deliver post-op recovery care. Essential qualifications include current Michigan RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 12 months of hire.

BSN is preferred, with 2 years’ PACU/ICU/ER experience encouraged. Working conditions may involve exposure to infectious diseases.

Qualifications

• Continuously monitor patients during the recovery phase.
• Provide discharge instructions to patients and caregivers.

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Assists in patient education during all phases of the patient’s experience.
• Appropriately documents patient care.
• Evaluates and completes assessment of patient needs to provide supportive care before, during, and after surgery.

Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Michigan. BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association/ACLS. PALS certification within 12 months of hire.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

BSN preferred. Two (2) years’ PACU, ICU or ER experience preferred.
