Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a motivated sales professional in the Saint Louis area to drive revenue and build lasting relationships with families seeking pre-need and at-need services. You will educate clients with planning guides, conduct presentations, and manage referrals.

You will prospect in the community, conduct events, and follow up with families to secure appointments and close contracts, while maintaining CRM records and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework preferred.
• Funeral Directors License where required by state law.
• Life Insurance license where required by state law; company will support obtaining licensing.
• CRM experience or familiarity with customer data management.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed monthly sales revenue quota.
• Present the Dignity Memorial Personal Planning Guide and electronic PPT presentations to inform consumers of services.
• Follow up with families for referrals by building professional relationships and service excellence.
• Lead tours and discussions with prospective families about cemetery/crematory options.
• Self-source leads through community events, networks, and seminars; schedule sales appointments.
• Guide families through final contract and related questions; walk them through the process.
• Maintain CRM activity and documentation to track productivity and engagement.

Influences consumer on the benefits of pre-planning for a soft close.Guides and tours prospective families through cemetery grounds or crematory mausoleums actively listening to needs, asking probing questions, and discussing options. Develops an understanding of each family’s unique needs and offers solutions to meet their needs. Provides service beyond expectations to form the foundation for future sales. Promotes the SCI Brand and service excellence.Following company processes and procedures, thoroughly and accurately completes contracts; follows up on outstanding documents and family questions. Provides and walks family through final contract.
