Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

You will coordinate patient care activities with the team and help maintain standards of practice, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care for all assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (Required).
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Georgia licensure/current license in GA required (NLC/eNCL acceptable).
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
