Job summary

Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for Pre-Op and Post-Op care. The LPN will perform focused assessments, contribute to care planning, interventions, and evaluations. Additional duties may include committee work and quality improvement projects.

Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or on-call. Competitive salary and benefits are offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Licensed in the state.
• CPR required; ACLS certification required.
• One year experience in intra-operative setting (preferred).
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused pre-op and post-op assessments and contribute to care planning, interventions, and evaluations.
• Participate in committees, quality improvement audits, and projects as designated by the manager.
• Work weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or on-call obligations.
