Job summary

SENTA ENT and Allergy Physicians in Valdosta, GA is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Op/PACU to deliver high-quality patient care in our ENT specialty practice. You will perform preoperative assessments, monitor recovery, and support families with education and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care, adherence to SENTA Partners’ standards, and collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• At least 2 years nursing experience, preferably in outpatient/specialty clinic.
• At least 1 year PACU experience required.
• BLS, CPR, and ACLS certification; ENT-specific certifications a plus.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Strong ENT/Allergy knowledge and patient education skills.
• Team collaboration and proficient in using EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of post-surgery assessment and documentation.
• Monitors vital signs, pain control, and fluid balance.
• Reports abnormalities to anesthesia/surgeon as needed.
• Provides post-surgery education to patient and family.
• Completes quality logs and maintains equipment readiness.
• Supports process improvement initiatives and compliance.
