Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse in Pre-op and PACU to provide nursing care to surgical patients following the nursing process and standards of care. The RN will support staff and serve as charge nurse when assigned, maintaining accountability for patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Required education includes an Associate's degree; BSN within 3 years for new hires. Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required or obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing.
• BSN required within 3 years for new hires after hire date.
• Florida RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to surgical patients using the nursing process.
• Carry out staff nurse duties and act as charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients and coordinate with the care team.
