Job Title – Position Description:Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse

Reports to:Manager Site

MISSION

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent and compassionate care to every patient and family member in the Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center through assessing and monitoring the care of patients. The Registered Nurse effectively coordinates the care of patients in accordance to physician orders and established procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

Education: Pre-op/PACU/OR

  • Associate Degree in Nursing

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience: Pre-op/PACU

  • One year of nursing experience

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience: OR

  • Two years of nursing experience
  • One year of Operating Room nurse experience
  • One year of experience with Robotic procedures preferred (Alpharetta Location Only)

Credentials/Licensures: Pre-op/PACU/OR

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Georgia OR
  • Current Compact Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Georgia
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Pre-op/PACU/OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience: Pre-op/PACU

  • 1+ years of nursing experience
  • Experience in Urology/Urogynecology setting

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience: OR

  • 3+ years of nursing experience
  • Experience in Urology/Urogynecology setting
  • 2+ years of Operating Room nurse experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Robotic procedures preferred (Alpharetta location only)
