Job summary

Brandon J. Broderick, Attorney at Law, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal or Case Manager to handle a busy pre-litigation caseload from intake through pre-litigation.

You will be the client’s main contact, coordinating evidence collection, claims with insurers, and documentation for settlement or litigation. We offer full-time on-site employment in New Jersey, with a supportive team culture, competitive salary, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Prelitigation Paralegal or Prelitigation Case Manager.
• Experience handling a caseload of ~100 case files using a Case Management System such as Litify, Needles, Clio, MyCase, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 100 personal injury matters from intake through pre-litigation.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, providing updates and exceptional service throughout the case.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and obtain key documents including police reports and medical records.
• Open and manage bodily injury, no-fault/PIP, and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims with carriers.
• Prepare and submit no-fault/PIP applications, lost wage claims, and related documentation.
• Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate case information in the CMS.
• Track medical treatment, damages, liens, and case-related expenses.
• Coordinate property damage claims when needed.
• Prepare cases for settlement negotiations or transition to litigation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload of Personal Injury cases from intake until litigation while consistently providing exceptional customer service to clients. Job Type: Full Time / Onsite, M-F

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and exceptional service throughout the case.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and obtain key documents, including police reports and medical records.

• Has previous experience handling a caseload of approx. 100 case files or more, using a Case Management System, such as Litify, Needles, Clio, MyCase, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory.

Annual salary is based upon the years on prelitigation personal injury experience.

Compensation Range:

$65,000 — $75,000 USD

Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
