Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick is seeking a seasoned attorney to join our fast-paced personal injury practice in Ohio. The successful candidate will handle a large docket, negotiate settlements, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships from our Toledo office.

We value aggressive, results-driven professionals with Ohio bar admission and 2–5 years of PI experience. Prior insurance defense or claims handling is a plus, and Litify proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in Ohio is required.
• 2–5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice.
• Experience in insurance defense or claims handling is a major advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Knowledge of Litify case management software preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and superior communication and presentation skills.
• Superior negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Investigate case facts and develop damages evidence.

This candidate should be aggressive, focused, and have the ability to handle a large, active docket of personal injury cases throughout Ohio while working in a fast-paced, professional environment. The primary office location is in Toledo.

Requirements

• Investigate case facts and develop damages evidence
• Negotiate all aspects of case settlements (including lien resolution) where appropriate
• Maintain communication and positive relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel and insurance representatives
• Work with teams to accomplish law firm goals
• Supervise support staff

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio
• Minimum 2-5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice
• Insurance defense and/or prior claims handling experience is a major advantage
