NACBA in Texas is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney with 1–2 years of prelitigation experience to join our growing firm across South Texas, including Austin, Dallas, and surrounding areas. You will advocate for clients and deliver outstanding service while handling cases from intake to early resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and develop all assigned cases.
  • Ascertain relevant facts and discuss all aspects of claims.
  • Secure authorization to sign up, decline or further evaluate claim.
  • Explain attorney-client contract.
  • Sign up cases in and out of the office on a rotational schedule.
  • After-hours calls and client sign-ups via in-office or DocuSign where needed.
  • Status letters to update clients.
  • Client meetings as needed.
  • Address and return all client calls by end of business day.
  • Maximize case values and attorney fees recovered.

Job description

Pre-Litigation Attorney:

We are seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney with 1-2 year of prelitigation experience preferably to join our growing firm in South Texas (Austin, Dallas, Brownsville, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, McAllen, Fort Worth). A qualified associate must possess the ability to provide legal representation to advocate for our clients while delivering outstanding client service skills.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be licensed to practice in Texas, have graduated from an accredited law school, and be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.

The ideal candidate must communicate effectively and possess excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills. The candidate must be self-motivated with strong negotiating skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Although the candidate will receive support and assistance, they must have the knowledge and experience to manage and move pending cases forward independently. They preferably have one to two years of personal injury experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Investigate and develop all assigned cases
  • Ascertain relevant facts and discuss all aspects of PNC's claims
  • Secure authorization to sign up, decline or further evaluate claim
  • Explain attorney-client contract
  • Sign up cases in and out of the office while covering a rotational schedule
  • After hours PNC calls and secure new client sign ups in office, in person out of office and/or via DocuSign (electronic signature option) in those matters where PNC resides a distance from one of our offices.
  • Status Letters: To update client case status.
  • Client meetings if needed
  • Address/return all client calls by end of business day.
  • Maximizing case values and attorney fees recovered.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00+ Additional Bonus Structure
