Job summary

Primrose School of Woburn is seeking an EEC-certified Pre-K Teacher who wants to continue building a rewarding career in early childhood education while enjoying a healthy work-life balance. You will collaborate with a co-teacher, implement the Balanced Learning Curriculum, support early literacy and social-emotional development, and meet Massachusetts EEC regulations.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification preferred.
• Experience in early childhood education with preschool/Pre-K.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and kindergarten readiness.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging classroom environment where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn.
• Implement Balanced Learning Curriculum through meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Support early literacy, phonics, writing, mathematics, problem-solving, and social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with your co-teacher as an equal partner in classroom planning, instruction, and daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do

As a Pre-K Teacher, you'll help children develop the confidence, independence, and foundational academic skills they need for a successful transition to kindergarten.

You’ll:

• Create a warm, engaging classroom environment where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn
• Implement our Balanced Learning Curriculum through meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences
• Support early literacy, phonics, writing, mathematics, problem-solving, and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with your co-teacher as an equal partner in classroom planning, instruction, and daily responsibilities
• Use observations and assessments to understand each child's progress and individual learning needs
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
• Communicate with families about their child's growth, development, and readiness for kindergarten
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom that meets Massachusetts EEC regulations
• Work alongside your Education Coach and leadership team to continue developing your teaching skills

What We’re Looking For

• Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification, preferred
• Experience working in an early childhood education setting, preferably with preschool or Pre-K children
• A strong understanding of early childhood development and kindergarten readiness
• A genuine passion for early literacy, social-emotional learning, and helping children become independent learners
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• A positive, dependable, and professional approach to teaching
• Full-time availability
• A desire to continue learning, growing, and developing as an educator
