Qualifications

• NJ State Certification as an Elementary Teacher or PreK-3rd.
• NJ State Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school elementary curriculum consistent with district goals.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences.
• Conducts ongoing assessment and differentiates instruction for individual students.
• Instructs students in citizenship and subject matters as required by district policies.
• Organizes and maintains record-keeping, grading, and attendance as required.
