Sakonnet Early Learning Center in Tiverton, RI is seeking a caring Pre-K Teacher for ages 4–5. Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities with competitive pay and benefits. You’ll design hands-on activities that foster early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development, supporting children to build confidence and independent skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Background screening as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, engaging activities for 4–5 year olds.
• Support early literacy, math, science and STEAM learning.
• Help children build independence and confidence.
• Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
