Job summary

New Paradigm For Education, Inc. in Detroit seeks GSRP Assistant Teachers to support the implementation of positive and impactful instruction in a PreK setting.

In partnership with Lead Teachers and Associate teachers, Assistant Teachers will deliver instruction using our PreK curriculum, establish strong relationships with students, families and co-workers, and ensure that their students are prepared for kindergarten in a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Works under the oversight of the classroom Lead Teacher as part of the GSRP teaching team
• Helps to facilitate the daily routine by supporting and delivering lessons and working with students.
• Becomes knowledgeable of the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold.
• Establishes a positive relationship with all co-workers and parents
• Adheres to all licensing and GSRP requirements
• Supports the classroom team members and the district team as needed
• Ancillary duties as needed or assigned
