Rainbow’s End Learning Center, powered by PathWays, is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our loving team in Washington, PA. You’ll design engaging lesson plans, lead hands-on activities, and help children grow across multiple domains while ensuring daily safety and structured routines.

We offer supportive supervision, a collaborative environment with the Director, and meaningful benefits. A Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, state clearances, and health checks are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Two letters of written recommendation.
• PA State Police Criminal Clearance, FBI Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance.
• Health assessment and Mantoux TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Keep kiddos safe with active supervision and care throughout the day.
• Assist with snack time, toileting, and encouragement.
• Design awesome lesson plans and activities with the Director.
• Create and lead activities to foster physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
• Document daily activities and updates; share milestones with parents.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Keep our kiddos safe with active supervision and care throughout the day.

Help with daily needs like snack time, toileting, and those all-important moments of encouragement.

Team up with the Director to design awesome lesson plans and activities.

Create and lead activities that help children grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

Keep clear documentation of daily activities and important updates.

Build strong relationships with parents by sharing the day’s highlights, milestones, and any concerns.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Join Our Team:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field—because shaping young minds takes knowledge and heart!

• 2 letters of written recommendation

The following state-required clearances must be completed before you start:

PA State Police Criminal Clearance

FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services)

PA Child Abuse Clearance

National Sex Offender Registry Clearance

If you’ve lived outside of Pennsylvania in the last 5 years, you’ll also need DOA Fingerprinting and clearances from those states too.

A health assessment and Mantoux TB test are required when you join, and we’ll just check in on your health every two years after that.
