Job summary

Little Learner Children's Academy in Illinois is seeking a Pre-K Teacher to join a caring, passionate team. You will create engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth in a safe, curious classroom.

Qualifications

• Classroom teaching experience with Pre-K, Kindergarten-1st grade
• Illinois state teacher qualifications per DCFS Standards
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Experience in licensed childcare facility preferred
• Passion for working with children

Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Create a classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, curious and excited to learn.
• Prepare and submit thoughtful, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Observe and document children's growth and progress.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with families through open, honest and meaningful communication.

Education

Title: Pre-K Teacher

Salary: Start from $18 per hour for qualified Teachers (based on education and experience)

Monday to Friday

Shifts from: 6:30am-6:00pm

Location: Positions available in Bolingbrook, Crest Hill, Minooka and Yorkville
