Job summary

Family Guidance Center of Alabama is seeking a passionate, caring Pre-K Teacher to provide a high-quality early learning experience for young children in Montgomery. You will plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and create a safe, engaging classroom.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a valid Alabama teaching certification; background screenings are required. Experience with preschoolers and strong communication with families are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (required).
• Valid Alabama teaching certification (preferred or as required).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Alabama First Class Pre-K Standards.
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow educators.
• Ensure compliance with all program policies and licensing requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
