Itinerant Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist
We are seeking preschool SLPs at our CDS Reach site in Portland. These are 40 hour per week, calendar year positions, working primarily in the Portland area. The SLP will complete speech and language evaluations for children ages 3-5, provide direct services and tele-therapy for children identified with a speech and language delay, provide consultation to classroom and program teachers and will work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Travel is required. Current licensure, Criminal History Records Check and DHHS background check are required.
Salary Range: $51,064 - $88,525

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The therapist works as a part of a team of colleagues to evaluate and provide treatment services to children. The therapist, a member of the IFSP/IEP team, evaluates, and provides services to eligible children birth through 5 and ensures that services meet the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Educational Improvement Act (IDEA) of 2004 as set forth in the Maine Department of Education Regulations Chapter 101. Individuals with Maine Department of Education Certification 293 may have written authorization to commit agency funds.
